Orange UK offers Black HTC Desire

Almost every second day we are coming across one or the other news about the HTC Desire mobile phone, especially over the Internet. I am still wondering when last time I came across any handset which succeeded in creating such a hoopla.

Almost all the leading network providers in the UK are providing the handset under various contract or Pay-As-You-Go offers. Like other carriers, Orange UK is also offering the handset but there is a small, yet very crucial, difference between Orange's HTC Desire and others. Besides features, color is the very first thing noticed by a mobile phone buyer. If we closely monitor the attitude of mobile phone buyers, we will find out that most of them prefer to see their favourite handset in the Black version.

Quite Interestingly, Orange UK is the only carrier which is offering the Black version of the HTC Desire. However, the handset is yet to be released under the banner of Orange mobile UK and to be very frank, I didn't come across any information regarding its release date. But I guess, it will be available free of cost under various contracts.

I am sure, so far, even you too would have gathered a lot of information about the handset but lets just have a quick recap of its specification list which says that it is a 3.7 inches wide AMOLED capacitive touch screen with a strong resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and 16 M colors, 576 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM, microSD card slot which could be extended up to 32GB, 5MP camera, GPRS, EDGE, WLAN, Bluetooth, 3G, USB, stereo FM radio, digital compass, dedicated search key and so on.
